Harvard Med School???

HI,
I’m not a medical doctor (and I don’t play one on TV) so imagine my surprise when Harvard Medical School emailed me and asked me to speak to a class of third year medical students. They were interested in the use of hypnosis in the medical community. When I arrived and started my presentation, I explained to them what hypnosis really is, for they are like most people and had no idea. I then did a demonstration where in front of the class I hypnotized one of the students to have natural anesthesia in his arm. As he sat there with people poking and probing him, he watched in amazement that he couldn’t feel any of it.

The students and the attending course Director and Associate Professor of Psychiatry were impressed enough to write this:

“Tom Nicoli gave a didactic and engaging presentation of hypnotherapy at Harvard Medical School.
“Nicoli… speaks of his field with a passion and has a true desire to better integrate the field of hypnotherapy with medicine. He went out of his way to make sure that every question that was addressed to him was answered. He is an expert in his field and opened many of the students’ minds, including my own, to the possibility of the mind-body connection.
“His presentation was thought provoking, stimulating, and made a large impression on at least one future physician in the room.”

Thanks,
Tom Nicoli.
